Manchester United defender Harry Maguire trained alone as England began their preparations for the Euro 2020 last-16 tie against Germany at Euro 2020.
Gareth Southgate's squad enjoyed a rest day on Wednesday following their 1-0 win over the Czech Republic at Wembley on Tuesday night, which sealed their spot at the top of Group D.
Maguire played 90 minutes in his first appearance at Euro 2020 having come into the tournament with an ankle ligament injury.
As part of his individual training programme, the United captain was not part of the main group at St George's Park on Thursday in order to manage his workload having only just returned to fitness, says the London Evening Standard.
Jordan Henderson and Jack Grealish both also came into the tournament carrying injuries but have been able to play and trained on Thursday.
