Man Utd defender Lindelof 'wearing heart monitor for two days'

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has been wearing a heart monitor for the past two days after being forced from the pitch at Norwich City clutching his chest.

Lindelof was treated at the side of the Carrow Road pitch by the club's medical staff, and was then substituted as he appeared to be clutching at his chest.

His wife Maja Nilsson Lindelof has now revealed that the Sweden international is still undergoing treatment and tests, but is feeling OK.

United released their own statement on Tuesday morning stating that he had recovered 'well'.

However, there is no word from United about when Lindelof can return to action.

Maja told Elle: "Yesterday he did a lot of tests and has a heart monitor on for two days to make sure everything is OK.

"[It was] Incredibly uncomfortable, especially when I did not get hold of him, which I always manage to.

"It was a long time before I got hold of someone on the team who updated me.

"Everything seems to be OK as luck would have it and we are waiting for answers to the last tests that will end tomorrow."
