Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has been named new captain of Sweden.
Lindelof was announced national team skipper by the Swedish FA this morning.
Sweden coach Jan Andersson confirmed: "Victor was the natural choice.
"He has shown time and again how important he is to us on and off the pitch. I think he had an incomparable tournament (Euro 2020) and has the leadership qualities necessary to be captain."
Lindelof succeeds Andreas Granqvist, who retired after the Euros.
