Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof is happy to see VSK gain compensation after his sale from Benfica.
Benfica claimed that Vasteras only had one per cent of the resale under the player's first contract, while Vasteras claimed that they were entitled to 20 per cent.
A compromise was reached via FIFA and VSK's financial records revealed they secured almost £3.5m.
And Lindelof told fotballskalen: "It was very important to me that they got the money. I was born and raised in Västerås and played in the club for a very long time and it is fun that I can help the way I can by playing soccer.
"I am very very happy about that."
