Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is upbeat about his recovery from a World Cup-ending knee injury.
Ferdinand used Twitter yesterday to communicate news of his knee injury.
"Physio's saying I won't be on the sidelines for as long as I 1st thought . . . thumbs up!" he tweeted gleefully.
