Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has ended his rift with Fabio Capello over the England captaincy.
The former skipper and the England manager shook hands and had a brief chat on Monday night after the squad met up at The Grove hotel in Hertfordshire, says the Daily Mail.
Ferdinand, 32, was smiling and relaxed afterwards. He then joined his replacement, John Terry, at the front of a warm-up run at Arsenal's London Colney training ground on Tuesday morning.
Monday evening was the first time Ferdinand and Capello have met since the Italian's decision to strip the Manchester United defender of the armband in March.
