Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is happy Nemanja Vidic has signed a new contract.
Sir Alex Ferguson was happy to tie up Vidic for another four years, warding off interest from Real Madrid.
And Northern Ireland star Evans said: "I'm sure he's delighted and the fans are delighted that he's signed. We certainly are.
"He is one of the best defenders in the world. He's just an all-round natural defender who's very strong in the air.
"Playing alongside people like him, young players like me can't help but learn."
