Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has suffered an injury scare with Ivory Coast.
Bailly was involved in a nasty on-pitch collision while playing for Ivory Coast on Saturday night.
The 24-year-old suffered a head collision while competing for the ball before falling to the ground. One of Bailly's teammates ran over and had to open his mouth in order to check that he had not swallowed his tongue during the incident, says the Manchester Evening News.
Fortunately the defender did not seem in too much pain from the unsavoury scenes and was soon back on his feet before being substituted as a precaution.
Bailly had scored his side's second goal of the match as they defeated Rwanda 3-0 in their final Group H game as part of African Cup of Nations qualification.
