Man Utd defender Blind: Focus must be on next two Premier League matches

Daley Blind believes Manchester United must gather momentum for their Europa League final by winning their final two Premier League matches.

United lost 2-1 to Tottenham on Sunday and are now certain to finish outside the top four. Blind, who will be rested for United's clash with Southampton on Wednesday night, still believes the Red Devils should be putting energy into their Premier League matches.

"You want to go into the final with the best feeling you can," he said. "So for the last two [league] games it's important to play a good match and win, and get the best possible feeling [around the squad]," said the Dutchman.

"There are two games to play and we want to finish on a good feeling.

"Now we have to focus on the next game and it's nice that the games are so quick together so we can focus on the next one. Everybody knows the importance of the games, and we will be ready as a team."
