Man Utd defender Bailly apologises to Solskjaer after verbal stoush

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has apologised to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a verbal clash.

The Ivory Coast international is unhappy at being frequently overlooked for Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire.

The Daily Record reports Bailly had a row with Solskjaer over his lack of playing time.

The Ivory Coast international was unhappy at the Norwegian's plan to bench him for the second leg of the club's Europa League tie with AC Milan.

And it's claimed he apologised in the aftermath of their row - yet was left out of the matchday squad regardless and is yet to be selected since.

United are said to have made progress over a new deal for Bailly.
