Manchester United could use Daley Blind to help persuade Ajax to sell Justin Kluivert, the Daily Express have reported.

The Amsterdam club is interested in bringing Blind back to the Netherlands, but his £100,000-a-week wages are proving too large for a deal to be agreed upon.

United triggered an extension in Blind's contract that stretches until the end of next season.

The Red Devils are also desperate to scoop up Kluivert, currently one of the most prodigious young talents in Europe.

And now Ajax want something they have, United are hoping the inclusion of Blind could help seal a deal for 18-year-old Kluivert.
