Manchester United have placed Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen top of their 2020 shopping list.

The Telegraph says Eriksen is the No1 attacking midfield target earmarked by United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - and they're prepared to wait until June to sign him when he comes off contract.

United intermediaries have learned Real Madrid have gone cold on the Dane, while interest from Juventus and Inter Milan is regarded as no major threat.

Solskjaer is willing to wait to take Eriksen on a Bosman, confident the midfielder will agree to move to Old Trafford rather than quit the Premier League for the continent.

United have also been linked with Leicester City ace James Maddison, but it is Eriksen that Solskjaer is prioritising.
