Manchester United management are considering the players they have out on-loan.
The Manchester Evening News says United agreed to loan out 11 players in the summer as they prioritised individual player development over their own needs at youth team level.
Despite making their best efforts to match players with appropriate loan clubs a number of the United youngsters have highlighted a level of concern with a lack of playing time in the first half of the season.
Wales international Dylan Levitt has played just three times in the league for Charlton Athletic since joining on a season-long loan in September, with his last appearance coming at right midfield on 24 October.
Concerns over Tahith Chong's spell with Werder Bremen, meanwhile, have been eased in recent weeks with the Dutch winger featuring in all but one of their Bundesliga matches this season.
