Man Utd confident of signing spree inside next 10 days

Manchester United remain confident of a signing spree over the next ten days.

The Manchester Evening News says United are hopeful of concluding more deals before they leave for their pre-season tour next month.

Senior club sources say work is going on behind the scenes to reinforce the squad and the club remain 'calm' with seven weeks to go until the window closes.

United players report to their Carrington training complex for pre-season training on July 1 and leave for Perth on July 7. United face Perth Glory and Leeds in Australia before their International Champions Cup friendlies with Internazionale in Singapore and Tottenham in Shanghai.

Four years ago, United bought Matteo Darmian, Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger within a 48-hour time period before they flew to the United States for their pre-season tour.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said at his unveiling as permanent United manager on March 28 his preference was for the club to conclude their summer business in time for pre-season.
