Manchester United are close to securing the signing of Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

The Portuguese star was wanted by the likes of Tottenham, while he was linked with a move to Barcelona in recent days.

But it appears United are the ones who will get Bruno, as several sources in England and Portugal are reporting the deal's conclusion.

Those reports are confirming a deal in the range of €55 million.

The Red Devils are confident they can agree personal terms before the transfer deadline.

The deal also includes €10 million in achievable add-ons, along with €15 million if United win the Premier League, Champions League or Bruno wins the Ballon d'Or.

He is a much needed addition for the Red Devils, as he would add goals from the number 10 position.
