Man Utd confident Lukaku will make derby

Manchester United are confident Romelu Lukaku will make the derby this weekend against Manchester City.

The Sun says he is suffering pain in his hamstring and is battling to be fit for the Manchester derby.

The United striker is hopeful of making Sunday's showdown at the Etihad Stadium against Pep Guardiola's champions.

Lukaku, 25, did not travel for the Champions League clash against Juventus and trained on his own.

The hamstring problem was picked up in training and ruled him out of the win at Bournemouth, where his replacements upfront - Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford - impressed.

But staying at home while Jose Mourinho's team travelled to Turin was seen as a precaution to make sure Lukaku is ready to face Manchester City.
