Manchester United is confident their star goalkeeper David De Gea will not ask for a move to Real Madrid.

Sky Sports report that De Gea has expressed his happiness with life in Manchester and he is now ready for United's Champions League campaign next season.

The Spaniard has been the subject of renewed interest from Real after he nearly moved to the Bernabeu in 2015.

26-year old De Gea is also believed to be happy with his relationship with Jose Mourinho, which has contributed to his decision to remain at Old Trafford.

De Gea's contract with United runs until at least 2019.
