Man Utd coaches working hard to help Matic improve attack

Manchester United coaches are working hard with veteran Nemanja Matic.

The defensive midfielder has enjoyed a renaissance this season and earned a new contract at the club.

A report in The Athletic says many of United's players are being told to work on specific skills during the coronavirus suspension of football.

And Matic is working with coaches to improve his attacking instincts.

Coaches believe that Matic can be more of a threat in the final third with his penetrating runs and passing.

They would prefer him to play a more attacking role, rather than solely sitting in front of the back four.

Matic has been working on feeding balls into the attacking players, running off them, and creating combinations with other players.
