Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid.

The Red Devils are in the market for a deep lying central midfielder.

And they have identified the Spaniard from Atletico as the man to play beside Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.

Todofichajes says the deal is all but done, and that COVID-19 is forcing Atletico to sell for lower than the player's release clause.

It is claimed United will likely to pay around £70 million for the La Roja star.

United legend Rio Ferdinand would approve of the deal, as he recently said he was a huge fan of the all action midfielder.
