Manchester United chiefs are behind a reported move for Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos.
Reports from Calciomercato.com earlier this week suggested that United were considering reigniting their pursuit in the Spanish defender.
Jose Mourinho was willing to push on with a £42million move for Ramos, however, fresh reports from Don Balon suggest that the Portuguese is not keen on the 30-year-old and is not actively seeking the potential transfer.
The pair had a bust-up at Madrid when Ramos accused Mourinho of treating club legend Iker Casillas poorly late in his tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu.
United signed Eric Bailly from Villarreal for £30m in the summer and are eager to lure a quality centre-half to play alongside the talented youngster.
The report from the Spanish publication also indicates that French giants PSG and German champions Bayern Munich are showing interest in Ramos.
