Manchester United chiefs have told Paul Pogba he will not be allowed to leave in January.
Pogba has been dropped for the last two games and was left on the bench during Saturday's 4-1 win over Fulham when manager Jose Mourinho chose to use Fred and Scott McTominay as midfield substitutes instead.
Juventus are known to be interested in taking him back if the opportunity arises, although Pogba would prefer to sign for Barcelona. However, the Daily Mailclaims the United hierarchy will turn down any offers next month.
They still see a bright future for him at Old Trafford and are mindful of the message that selling a marquee player would send out.
