Man Utd chiefs assure Solskjaer he can buy Pogba replacement

Manchester United chiefs have assured manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer he will have the money to buy a replacement.

ESPN says United's public stance is that they would like Pogba to stay.

They do not want to be seen to lose their best players as they aim to end their four-year wait for major silverware.

However, despite what Solskjaer says, United privately do not expect Pogba to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Instead, United would 'love' to take £50million for Pogba, which is the fee PSG are reportedly considering offer.

Solskjaer would be allowed to reinvest in the transfer market with whatever funds are raised by Pogba's exit.
