Man Utd, Chelsea will have to meet Roma release clause of Pjanic

AS Roma president James Pallotta says Miralem Pjanic can leave the club if his release clause is met.

The Bosnia & Herzegovina international is a reported target for Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea who could both make bids for his services this summer.

Regarding the Roma future of 26-year-old Pjanic, Pallotta admitted that he could be on his way out if the £30million release clause is met.

"Pjanic also has a contract and we want him to remain, but if they pay the clause…," he told Football Italia.

Pjanic is contracted with the Roman outfit until the summer of 2018 but could quite possibly be on the way out the Stadio Olimpico exit door if United or Chelsea's mooted interest is legitimate.

The former Lyon star is also being heavily linked with Barcelona as his likely Roma exit looms closer and closer.
