Valencia ace David Villa has opened the door to moving to England. During the height of last summer's transfer speculation, Villa ruled out leaving Spain, insisting he would only move to Barcelona or Real Madrid if he was to be sold by Valencia.
AS says, however, Villa has been convinced by his confidants that a move to England would be good for him and he is now open to the prospect.
Valencia sports chief Fernando Gomez admitted this week, with the club €550 million in debut, that fans may have to be prepared for their stars to be sold.
Interestingly, Manchester United and Chelsea had scouts in the stands in Madrid on Saturday to see Villa turn out for Spain against Argentina.
