Man Utd charged by UEFA over Di Maria bottle incident

Manchester United have been charged by UEFA for an incident involving PSG winger Angel Di Maria during last night's Champions League last-16 first leg clash.

A section of United supporters at Old Trafford hurled objects at Di Maria, who played with the club for a single season in 2014/15 before joining PSG.

The Argentine set up both of Paris' goals in the 2-0 win, but copped plenty of abuse from United supporters during the game.

Prior to the goals, Di Maria was targeted with bottles while waiting to take a corner. He then reacted by picking up a bottle and pretending to drink it.
