Man Utd captain Maguire pleads with Solskjaer not to drop him

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has pleaded with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not to drop him.

Maguire's performances have been heavily criticised since the start of the season prompting fears he is psychologically drained after being found guilty on three separate charges following an alleged violent altercation whilst on holiday in Mykonos in August.

The Daily Mail says Maguire is fully committed to the United cause and is not considering a break from the game.

That means Solskjaer, who has supported Maguire during these difficult times, will make the decision on whether the centre-back should be granted a mid-season break.

With important Premier League and Champions League matches on the horizon it remains to be seen whether the United boss would consider such an option.
