Manchester United captain Harry Maguire hailed the Old Trafford atmosphere for their derby defeat of Manchester City.

Speaking after the game, Maguire said it was one of the best experiences he's had at the Theatre of Dreams.

“That and the first game of the season were the best atmospheres [this season]. It was electric," he said on MUTV.

"The last 10 minutes were incredible to play in. It spurred you on, if you ever do need spurring on in a Manchester derby, but they were definitely the 12th man out there. It was a big three points and a big win for them.

“Credit to the fans, everyone in the stadium created an atmosphere out there that deserved three points for them to go to work tomorrow morning and have the bragging rights in the city."
