Manchester United captain Harry Maguire says Anthony Martial retains the full confidence of his teammates.

Maguire has leapt to the defence of Martial following his display against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

The French forward's poor start to the new season continued in midweek as he squandered two glorious chances during United's 3-1 Champions League defeat to PSG.

"It is all fine margins," Maguire told BT Sport after the match. "Martial has scored plenty of goals over the last year or so, so I'm sure he is down in there and disappointed, but he'll come again and I'm sure he'll be looking to put it right at the weekend."
