Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal was delighted for Robin van Persie over his goal in victory against Hull City.
Van Gaal was pleased to see his countryman Van Persie back on the scoresheet after a week of heavy criticism following his lacklustre display at Arsenal.
Van Gaal said: "Every striker needs a goal. When you haven't scored in the last two or three matches you need a goal.
"I am very pleased and happy for him that he scored but I am sure he can play better than he did today."
