Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag believes that winger Antony will show his best qualities.

The Brazilian has not enjoyed the best of seasons for the Red Devils, despite getting plenty of game time.

Antony was under par as United lost 3-2 against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

“He can do better but I see space for improvement," said Ten Hag to reporters about Antony.

“We want him to be more direct but the team is performing better if he is on the pitch and that is a good thing. He has had an impact but with his capabilities, his talents he can do even more."
