Man Utd boss Ten Hag turns to Brentford midfielder Eriksen

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is targeting Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen's short-term contract at Brentford expires at the end of this month and ten Hag is eager to bolster his squad, says the Daily Mail.

The Dutchman could make as many as six major signings as he looks to drastically improve United's fortunes, and he has been hugely impressed by the impact that Eriksen has made at Brentford.

Eriksen scored once and provided four assists in eleven Premier League appearances after joining Brentford in January. It was his first involvement in competitive football since his cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark at Euro 2020 last year.

Ten Hag monitored Eriksen's progress when he allowed the midfielder to train with Ajax while he was building up his sharpness. During that time ten Hag was impressed with Eriksen's desire.
