Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was happy with Marcel Sabitzer's debut for victory over Crystal Palace.

United won 2-1 on Saturday with Casemiro being sent off.

Ten Hag said: "He understands football. You see it straight from the start.

"We have already seen that in the training as well, but yeah he did quite well.

"He's really composed on the ball and he knows how to defend so we need such a player who understands the game and will also bring the right spirit."
