Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been forced to ensure that his coach Eric Ramsay does not leave the club.
The 30-year-old is a key aspect of ten Hag's backroom staff at United this season.
However, The Mirror states that clubs in the EFL, including Blackpool and Barnsley, are looking at Ramsay as a possible manager.
The Athletic adds that ten Hag has no desire to part with Ramsay and replace him.
The club will ensure that he sticks to his contract, and have told interested clubs to look elsewhere.
Ten Hag also has the likes of Steve McClaren and Benni McCarthy on his staff.
