Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag praised Andre Onana after their 3-0 Carabao Cup win against Crystal Palace.

It marked a success consecutive clean sheet for Onana.

Ten Hag said: "Of course, it's always when you [get a] clean sheet, it will always give the 'keeper confidence, especially when you contribute, when you have some great saves, like on Saturday, when he had that header, it was a very important save there, and now in the end, he had two fantastic saves.

"So that will help and build his confidence.

"But he has personality, he deals with situations, with pressure, he can do that and I think he's starting to do that now."
