Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is unsure if Raphael Varane can make their clash with Everton.
Varane picked up an ankle injury during United's 6-3 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad last Sunday. The centre-back then missed his side's 3-2 Europa League win over Omonia Nicosia last night.
"Difficult to say. Varane made progress and I hope he is available but I think it will be close," Ten Hag said. "From the other players, Harry Maguire not, then it's Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Donny van de Beek, both not."
On Van de Beek, Ten Hag added: "He had a muscle injury. So it takes a couple of weeks. He's now back on the training grass, so he's outside doing his work but still individual, he's not returning to team training. So we have to wait for that moment.
"He has to be fit. Obviously, that is his disadvantage. He is now for two-and-a-half years here. He had a pre-season that was quite okay and his chances will come.
"When he came on against Brighton as a sub he did very well but you have to be available. And if you are not available you cannot get a place in the first XI and so now he has to make sure he gets fit and fights for his position."
