Man Utd boss Solskjaer will have bumper January transfer kitty

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have a bumper transfer kitty for the January market.

The Sun says United have promised Solskjaer the full £75million raised as a result of Romelu Lukaku's sale to Inter Milan for transfers in January should he want it.

The Belgian striker completed his move to Italy on deadline day in a deal which was the second-largest amount United have ever received for a player, behind only the £84m they got from Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.

And as a result of the monetary boost from Lukaku's sale Solskjaer will be handed enough funds to make at least one or two signings in January when the winter transfer window opens.

United spent close to £150m this summer on the acquisitions of Daniel James from Swansea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace and Harry Maguire from Leicester .

As well as selling Lukaku they also released Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera, freeing up some funds to go on wages.
