Man Utd boss Solskjaer: Why I was proud of Pogba winning World Cup

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was proud seeing Paul Pogba win the World Cup with France.

Solskjaer worked with Pogba as a youth team coach.

“I absolutely love coaching and managing and helping players to improve their careers," he said.

“And when you're in a club like this, that's exactly what you do. It is what the gaffer did, what Sir Matt did, Louis (van Gaal), Jose (Mourinho).

“We have all given debuts to young players and I am sure they are the same as me thinking 'I gave him his debut'.

“When I saw Paul Pogba win the World Cup, I thought about when I coached him when he was 17.

“Now he's a World Cup winner and I am coaching him again.

“It's great to see the achievements of the players you work with because I was happy with my career anyway."
