Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he can't put a deadline for when his planned clearout will be complete.
Solskjaer, after defeat at home to Burnley in midweek, touched on his clearout plans in the aftermath and has since expanded on the topic.
He remarked, "That's the thing about football, it's dynamic.
"There are always players who can surprise you, in a good way and a bad way. It is up to the players to realise that we are privileged to represent the world's best and biggest club. It is a duty we have every day, on and off the pitch.
"I can't give a different answer than that is an ongoing thing."
Solskajer added: "We made a decision to let some players go, because we had to get a fresh start with a clear goal ahead of us, which means we need a certain type of player in the squad. We know that we must get both quality and quantity."
