Man Utd boss Solskjaer 'very happy' with Cavani performance

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hailed the performance of Edinson Cavani for victory over Istanbul Basaksehir.

United were comfortable 4-1 winners in last night's Champions League tie.

Solskjaer said, "I thought there were some excellent attacks at times. One or two touch football. We started out well with getting round the team, putting some crosses in, which is something we've not been known for lately.

“But with Edinson it's a different centre forward in there and some of the attacks - the last goal was a good example of one or two touch football, so very happy.

“Edinson and Donny [van de Beek] did really well, both of them, I think the whole team did really well, we found our positions, the tempo with the ball was really good.

“We deserved the win after that first-half. Second-half is always different and difficult to keep the tempo when you're winning 3-0."
