Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is coy over his interest in Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
Recent reports suggested Solskjaer had made a scouting trip to check on the 25-year-old as he looks to bring in midfield reinforcements during the transfer window.
But the United boss was coy over the speculation as he faced the media ahead of his side's clash with Norwich this weekend.
"There is a lot of speculation all the time about us going to watch matches," Solskjaer said.
"Where I have been and when I have been somewhere is irrelevant.
"He is another player at a different club who I can't speak about."
