Man Utd boss Solskjaer prepared to see SIX senior players depart

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is prepared to see as many as SIX first teamers depart this summer.

The Sun says Solskjaer is ready to sell £505,000-a-week flop Alexis Sanchez after his dismal form since arriving at Old Trafford last January.

He will also move on defenders Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo.

Valencia and Darmian are set to be released as free agents at the end of the season while Argentine Rojo - who signed a contract extension last year - has featured for just 13 minutes under the Norwegian.

Yet while Solskjaer wants to keep Juan Mata and Ander Herrera, their contracts are up in the summer and no new deals have been agreed with them.

So that is six players on their way out in a major overhaul as Solskjaer aims to assemble a squad to challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for the title next season.
