Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised Axel Tuanzebe's performance at left-back for their 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
The centre-half played out of position after Aaron Wan-Bissaka pulled out of the game through illness.
"That showed by him playing well against Pepe," Solskjaer said of his decision to play Tuanzebe on the left.
"I think Pepe's a threat and Axel did really well.
"We've had a few injuries and illnesses and that was a decision when Aaron wasn't fit to play."
