Man Utd boss Solskjaer planning for summer market - 2020!

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to spend the next two windows clearing out the dead window.

The Manchester Evening News says Solskjaer has set United a deadline of next year to sell unwanted players as part of his squad rebuild.

Solskjaer is already planning ahead for next year's summer transfer window just weeks into his first with United and has informed executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward of the players he wants to move on before the 2020-21 campaign.

Solskjaer is believed to have told Woodward of his forward planning when he was still caretaker manager.

Head of corporate development Matt Judge has been tasked with negotiating transfer deals that will be signed off by Woodward. Chief scout Jim Lawlor and Mick Court, who was promoted to technical chief scout in April, were delegated to identify targets and will continue to advise throughout the window.
