Man Utd boss Solskjaer: Martial and Fernandes have hit it off

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits that new signing Bruno Fernandes has hit it off with Anthony Martial.

The two have not only developed an understanding on the pitch, but they appear to be good friends off it as well.

Their camaraderie was evident during their clash with Manchester City.

Fernandes assisted Martial for the first goal in a 2-0 win, and the two were celebrating together on the bench when Scott McTominay sealed the win for the Red Devils.

"Anthony and Bruno have hit it off," Solskjaer told Sky Sports on Sunday.

"It is a privilege to be a manager of a squad with this attitude. You can't ask for more. They are going to improve as players as well.

"Those little things [like Martial's goal] will come but it is a privilege, and they want to listen to advice.

"For our players to beat a team like Manchester City is fantastic, I am delighted for them."
