Man Utd boss Solskjaer makes Rashford his No1 striker

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made Marcus Rashford his first-choice striker.

The Daily Star says Solskjaer has held talks with Rashford on the club's warm weather trip to Dubai and made it clear he will spearhead United's attack ahead of Romelu Lukaku.

The news is a blow to Lukaku, who cost United £75m from Everton and regarded himself as the club's star striker.

Rashford, 21, has been in top form since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho on a caretaker basis last month.

He has started all four league games ahead of Lukaku, scoring three goals in the process.
