Man Utd boss Solskjaer: I'll be successful here - but some players...

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he's ready to make tough calls and sell underperforming players this summer.

United are still without a director of football and with the futures of too many up in the air. They are not preparing for mass signings over the coming months, although that seems to be the only real way of forcing definitive change.

"I want my team to be the hardest-working team in the league," Solskjaer said after defeat at Everton. "That's what we were under Sir Alex. Whatever talent you had, you ran more than everyone. Put that shift in for your team-mates.

"I'm going to be successful here and there are players there who will not be part of that successful team. Many of them do have it. We have to stick together as a team. We can't change the whole squad - it's got to be one step at a time."
