Man Utd boss Solskjaer has assuring word for Lukaku

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has assured Romelu Lukaku he's in his plans.

Untouchable under Jose Mourinho, Lukaku faces a fight to reclaim his place — and Solskjaer wants the Belgium striker to embrace the challenge.

“He's a big part of the squad, definitely, with his personality around the place," said the 45-year-old. “There's no one scoring as many goals as him in training.

“There are the three who play the most, then you've got Rom, Juan [Mata], Alexis [Sanchez]. So I've a front six I can rotate, and Rom is definitely going to be playing games.

“I used to be one of four strikers, when we played with two. Now we've six and play with three most of the time. We're able to rotate, so it's up to the strikers to take their chances when they get them."
