Man Utd boss Solskjaer happy with Ronaldo, Fernandes connection

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is pleased with the growing connection between Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The two know each other very well from their duties for the Portuguese national side.

Some fans had expressed concerns about their compatibility, given Fernandes often shows better form with United, but the two have already linked up to excellent effect at club level.

Fernandes provided the pass that eventually led to Ronaldo's goal against West Ham United in a 2-1 Premier League win on Sunday.

Solskjaer told the club's website: "The two of them [Ronaldo and Fernandes], of course, have to work together.

"They've played together for Portugal for a little while but, for me, those are top players. Ronaldo arrives in the box again – as he does."
