Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has likened Mason Greenwood to former teammate Ryan Giggs.

Solskjaer said that Greenwood's Manchester United emergence reminded him of Giggs after the youngster struck the only goal in the 1-0 win over Inter Milan in Singapore.

"He reminds me a little bit of the Giggsy story," said Solskjaer in Singapore.

"You can't send him on loan and he's ready to be in this squad.

"He's a natural finisher. He's practicing of course but he just knows where the goal is. Sometimes you get players like this and he's a natural scorer."
