Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was pleased with goalscorer Scott McTominay in defeat at Wolves.
The young midfielder opened the scoring with a powerful drive into the bottom corner and generally impressed with an energetic display.
It was not enough to lead the lacklustre Red Devils to victory as their top four hopes were dealt a blow at Molineux.
"We didn't pounce on big moments in the game," Solskjaer told BBC Sport.
"Scott McTominay played really well tonight, he's been excellent. He gave us a goal threat, energy and legs - very pleased with him.
"There's a couple of mistakes from us. We gave them that first goal, we have to be honest."
